My oldest son was making fun of me for taking random photos when we're driving down the road...he says, "The only thing you haven't taken a picture of is the road." Read that with a little disgust in the voice. lol As he stared at me with mouth wide open...I took this photo. That'll teach him. :)

If you look really close, you'll see the chair....peace and quiet. I've never seen anyone sitting there but it's always there...waiting. I would love to take my knitting and go down and just enjoy the solitude.

Another sight seen every day in my neck of the woods. I wish I could say the tree just grew this way...it would make the photo so much more interesting but...not so. The power company cuts the trees off the power lines in hopes of preventing disaster when an ice storm comes rolling in. We had a pretty serious ice storm a few years ago and it was not pretty. Three days...no power...lots of overtime for the power company.

Just one of the sights you would see every day if you were looking at the world through my eyes.

This was the view in my back yard this afternoon. I just thought it was so pretty.

It's 35 degree F. I can't think of a better way to stay warm. My warm, fuzzy socks only do so much.

I present my first photo for my 365 project. I admit it isn't a recent photo...this was taken about a year ago at Toccoa Falls, Georgia. The weather here now is wet and cold and windy. I'm not really up to going out in this yuckiness to take photos so I chose this one instead to get started. It's so much nicer than the actual weather. I thought it might cheer us up.

Happy New Years Everyone!
